Broker/Owner ANNA MAY has been a California real estate licensed professional for nearly 20 years. She currently serves as Advisor to the Hispanic Real Estate Group in the east bay and as 2012 Past Local President/2013 Nominating Chair for the Women's Council of REALTORS Tri-Cities Chapter. Known for catchy phrases that get people to take notice of her marketing efforts, she has earned several achievement awards and accolades over the years for her professional endeavors. In addition to being recognized as a top agent, she was featured in the coveted East Bay Business Times "40 Under 40" shortly after being voted "Best Real Estate Agent" in the Daily Review reader's choice poll.

In 1991, Anna May started her career in the field of real estate working as a loan agent when she earned top performer awards as the youngest loan agent in the office. Thereafter, she joined Rickshaw Restaurants Inc. as a Director, selling restaurant franchises and handling the retail leasing for the chain's expansion. In 2005, she sold off her remaining interest in the Rickshaw Express restaurant chain (KMWA Inc.) and its federal trademark.

Anna May is a Rotary Club Past-President having joined the Rotary Club in 1999 and has traveled all over the world for both her work and Rotary involvement. She's been an active member of the Chamber of Commerce since 1992 and serves as a Chamber Ambassador. As a former Commissioner for the Housing Authority of the County of Alameda, she introduced the first landlord to the Commission in many years. In addition to her professional & community involvement, she is the youngest woman to win a City Council election in her hometown. Her signature City Council duties included many decisions that protect private property rights in addition to kick-starting the film & media effort in her city.

As a member of the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television & Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA), you may have seen or heard her on television, on the radio or perhaps on the big screen. Anna's community & civic involvement has extended to her hosting the TV show "Impact" where she has moderated on a number of different topics affecting our communities. She often serves as a speaker and moderator for non-profit, professional organizations and civic candidate debates. She is a Board Member for the Asian Pacific Islander American Public Affairs Association Bay Area Chapter.

Anna has the most fun announcing the winners of the raffle drawing at her local Senior Center. In 2012, she organized the first SantaCon event in her hometown as a fundraiser for the animal shelter. The next SantaCon event she is organizing takes place on Saturday December 7, 2013.
